Martin Blum is the second artist-in-residence at ArtBakery in the framework of the exchange program with IAAB Basel. His work is installation and performance-based. He is known for his collaborative work with fellow artist Ganz. In Bonendale, he did a number of sculptures inspired by the architecture of little and precarious street shops "litering" the sidewalks of the city of Douala. These sculptures were produced using raphia bambou that could be found in the swamps around. He also did collaborative works with people from the neighbourhood comprising fishing and smoking fish.

Martin est le deuxième artiste à séjourner à ArtBakery dans le cadre du programme d'échanges avec IAAB Bale. Il a mis à profit son séjour pour revisiter les constructions précaires des boutiques de fortune qui peuplent les trottoirs de la ville. Le bambou a semblé, par sa couleur et sa souplesse, le matériau le plus approprié. Martin s'est rapidement intégré à la communauté et a ainsi pu développer une série de projets autour de la pêche.
